there is no reason why streaming services can't have basic navigation features like
- a full, comprehensive list of all available titles
- a search that actually works, and can sort by things like release year and primary spoken language
- "do not show me this again"/"don't recommend" lists
except that they don't want to. it's a content slurry pipe and if I was had the tools to effectively discern its output, that might make a number go down somewhere. not that the lack of same will keep them from hiking their subscription fees all the time for no reason
