Somebody asked anonymously how did I discover I'm therian and I initially rejected the question because it was something I saw right after waking up and couldn't brain (sorry!) but after time and coffee I wanted to come back to it.
It's hard to say, but for me it's a deeper feeling of connection to the creatures I most identity with. I'm polytherian, so there's more than one animal I feel strongly connected to, but the ones I feel strongest towards are rabbit, coyote, and Typhlosion.
I have had some phantom sensations, but they're rare and very light. For me it's more how I feel in my soul.
Rabbit is the strongest of all of them. I view the world always with an air of caution, but when I'm allowed to let my guard down I am a joyful and loving person. I am resourceful and enjoy building community and connections with those I'm close with.
