Taur who looses something under a couch and can't easily lay on their side to grab it with their more dexterous humanoid-part hands (while not that hard, it is enough of a multi-step hassle for a taur to get back up from that position that they would probably choose to avoid doing so if the could), so they choose to blindly try to bat it out from under the couch with their forepaws without being able to see due to the taur body type, and they most likely knock it even further under the couch and out of reach.
