Reincarnation is the concept that the non-physical essence of a living being continues to exist after death and begins a new life in a different physical form. This “essence” could be the mind, soul, consciousness, or spirit.
Religions and spiritual movements differ on what exactly is carried on, and in what forms one can be reborn as. For some, it’s a part of the eternal cycle of life. For others, it’s a cycle you try to break free from.
