this was a one-hour battle winner of battle of the bits, done in openMPT as a .it module, and i had a ton of fun with the sample pack. parallel motion between chords is good actually

my first time doing a one-hour submission in a hot minute because Depression -- making this feels like a minor turning point
i finally recorded samples from my TR-08 and i'm stoked about it because almost every sample i hear labeled "808" just doesn't give me the vibes
there was a challenge with this OHB to only use major chords and i extremely stretched the definition with a lot of #9s lmfao
but i like the feeling of this track
this was a fun one-hour battle where i spent the first half doing FM sound design for the PC-98's YM2608 chip and then the rest of the time putting together a brief but pleasant seven bar loop 
first time touching BambooTracker and i think it went well honestly!
very happy with the harmonies and the counterpoint here tbh, and i enjoy the vibe i established
