Thinking about this again as secsam draws to a close but one of my big my creative/artistic goals for 2024 is getting to a point where I feel like I can participate. Which is realistically probably like 1-2 parts learning technical skills and then like 5 parts learning organizational skills and 5 more parts building confidence (and related traits)

#like moreso than most tangible skills probably the thing I need to improve most is how to choose an achievable project and work through it to completion #and then obvs I want to actually feel like I have something to contribute etc
