Discord is following in the footsteps of many other US corporations and adding a forced arbitration clause to their terms of service. I don't think I need to tell you how disgusting this is.

I wrote up a non-agreement notice template, if you don't want to be bound by Discord's forced arbitration agreement email this notice to arbitration-opt-out@discord.com within ~25 days.

Please note that if you are a EU citizen agreements like this cannot be legally enforced, so you are protected.

Arbitration Non-agreement Notice

Dear Discord Inc.,
I, the owner of the account associated with this email address, hereby decline the forced arbitration agreement. Furthermore, this non-agreement notice shall not be interpreted as a recognition of Discord Inc.'s forced arbitration agreement's ability to be legally binding. Its purpose is to protect the owner of this account from the possible ramifications of Discord Inc.'s attempted legal overreach.

In simple terms, I do not agree to the forced arbitration agreement.

Sincerely,
[name]
