i love that when running c# under linux, i can just read files in the proc filesystem the same as with any other file. when running linux under wsl2 it also allows me to basically determine if the host os is ultimately windows. i bet if i dug hard enough i could find ways to detect linux being run in a vm the same way... programming is beautiful sometimes
