yesterday i went through all of 2mello's production notes for sounds of tokyo-to future. really good, thoughtful stuff. the way his creative direction mostly boiled down to "let me try to produce my way, outside the bounds of media recognition" is really inspiring. makes me want to explore how i would do my own (non-cover) music... at least in the time and focus i can get between work and other projects lmao
