Maybe he's done other stuff of this ilk and I've just been unaware, I'm about as detached from anything going on in music as one can be. I couldn't tell you and even if you tell me now, I still won't be able to tell you tomorrow when I inevitably forget because I'm that out of touch. But I, for one, did not wake up today thinking I would see Daytona's Most Valuable Driver of All Time (of audio) singing a kinda sorta somber, existential song for Hardcore Tano*C, but I think I'm here for it?

mitsuyoshi rules so much. i met him at a dinner once!! extremely like the game music dad over in toyko, he was really enthusiastic about my accomplishments & introducing me to the other people there ^^

Aw, that's super sweet! I always figured he was probably a pretty genuine guy, but that's rad to hear he embraced you so enthusiastically like that (and very deservedly so!). Between that and what Erica told me about meeting Iga, it's nice to hear that some of the real legends of this industry are still such down to earth people even after having such storied careers. :eggbug-relieved:
