i've been crunching some numbers in terms of graphical limitations and i'm very convinced that porting at least the first ace attorney game to mega drive is feasible. a fullscreen nintendo ds background is 256x192, which not only fits inside the mega drive display at the lowest resolution setting (256x224 ntsc, 256x240 pal), but also leaves enough room in vram to store graphics for a big sprite + hud assets as well.

i haven't investigated how big the game script gets (that is, dialogue + all actions to format text/do animations), so there's a chance a mapper would be needed for how much raw text there is...
