the best way I can put it is that everyone on quora seems to ask questions for reasons not belied by the question itself, as if they're expecting a very specific kind of answer, and indeed they do receive it, but both parts are utterly inscrutable to anyone on the outside of whatever weird interaction is going on
whenever I click on a google result that's a Quora answer, the page then loads a completely different question
You have to pick a little drop-down menu, and change it from "Related(56)" to "Answers(7)," it's fucking stupid.
I've listened to a couple episodes of the Hard Drive editors' podcast about quora, and I don't think they even know what's going on over there

There was a period of my life where I used imgur both to browse memes and upload images to share on old forums. At some point I got bored and signed up for reddit.
Visiting the site again is like digging up an old time capsule, it doesn't feel like the meme culture there has changed any bit.
