Here's my latest hypothesis about my health shit, and it contains a glimmer of hope:

The problems on my right side might be from my feet, specifically EDS giving me what are effectively flat feet (I have slight arches but they flatten out when I stand or walk). And that has caused some kind of greater problem in my right foot, which spread upward over time as muscle spasms, chronic tightness, pelvic torsion, etc. Fix the foot, and my right side can recover.

Here's the cool part: It's possible my stomach problems and sinus problems are all a downstream result of the foot.

  • The muscle spasms set off pelvic torsion and severe abdominal cramps, which puts strain on my GI tract. That might be causing small, transient micro-tears that won't show up in a colonoscopy, but could set off inflammation and stir up immune reactions to food from constant exposure.
  • Same thing with muscle tension could be going on around my right sinus, making it prone to bleeding (this I'm sure about) and repeat infection. I already know that when I temporarily get my right side to settle down, my sinus stops being congested.

So, in short, fixing my foot might clear up all the mobility problems, and food reactions, and chronic sinusitis.

We'll see! Lots of my models have been shot down before. But not all of them

the opposite seems also true in my experience -- my gut problems get worse and worse until i remember to force myself to rest (fighting through restlessness) and then I'm good for a few weeks.

man what if everything with hEDS is just very roundabout repetitive stress injuries thanks to tendons
