Chess lacks myriad quality of life features that are all but standard in modern games
you can tell it's a product of its time because every character has a different control scheme. that wouldn't fly now. they were still figuring things out back then
It's fun for maybe 10 hours but once you know how all the pieces move and can figure out what they can do on the next turn, there's not a lot of strategy to it. Buy it when it's on sale.
