The Death card is the subject of my favorite tarot joke ever. In one of the Ghostbusters comics, an experienced reader is doing a reading for Ray and flips up Death, and is like "Oh no...". He naturally comes in with "Come on, you know it doesn't mean actual death." to which she responds "When has change for the Ghostbusters ever been a good thing?" He doesn't have a rebuttal for that.
