I sleep with a rumpled up blanket instead of a pillow, on top of a gentle incline foam wedge. I use the blanket because with EDS you need to do things like support your head so when you go unconscious it doesn't flop around. You can bunch up the blanket in places to provide supports. Anyways I just figured out a thing for side-sleeping, which is to bunch up some of the blanket in the crook between the base of the neck and shoulder. Basically a spacer, so the base of your neck doesn't collapse painfully. It's very very good
