Yeah, it's always a magical feeling when, for whatever reason, you don't run into any or much competition on Yahoo Auctions despite the odds. Some of the rarest games in my collection are stuff that came from those sorts of auctions and fell well below market price. I don't know how it happens when that site has all sorts of alerts you can turn on for days, but I won't complain when Japanese Collectordom happens to be looking the opposite direction ahaha.
I'll have to look into that Hori stick, too. Been looking for one to use with my arcade supergun since that takes Saturn controllers and a stick with individual plugs for each input that lets you wire the buttons as a d-pad would be great for one of my favorite boards that's wired up a little wacky. (Basically, it's a dating sim/quiz game hybrid and they get around the traditional three button limitation of JAMMA by sacrificing the stick and using each of the pins for each direction as buttons instead.)
