in lighter news, lighter bc i find this darkly hilarious, my cat harley is now a criminal... she got into a bad fight with simmon (both are fine and uninjured) where she was in full poofy tail Fight mode, and before i could stop him my dad made the mistake of picking her up to break up the fight. resulting in him getting scratched up really badly, like his arm looks like it was put in a wood chipper (this part is not funny but hold on)
so yesterday he went to an urgent care for these scratches, and they were bad enough that the doctors made him fill out a cat attack report!!! which we had no idea wtf that was for or what they do with it. until today. animal control paid us a visit and gave my dad this whole spiel!!! and now according to their instructions we have to display a "violent animal" sign in our front window for 10 days... this is just so funny because its harley... she would never hurt a fly (she was just scared/mad!) but now this is like the grand trophy on her pile of Infamous Actions. i've talked about how much of a weirdo she is before like, jumping from the second story to attack our other cat izzy the first week she was home, climbing on our neighbors roof, she likes getting groomed with a garden rake, likes getting jiggled around, likes getting her face stretched like above... shes just eccentric, not violent, but now she has a Criminal Record...
