Okay, and apparently this company bought Crash Bandicoot (and the rest of Universal Studios) from Seagram, the ginger ale company. This has got to be the largest media franchise transfer between two nominally-beverage-producing companies, right? (Vivendi had unfortunately spun off their water division as “Vivendi Environnement” the year before, reducing their claim to actually being a beverage company, but they still had a controlling stake in that company at the time)
Vivendi is an undying beast of a company, somehow haemorhagging untold billions of francs and euros for decadescenturies, and yet still kicking
