I was getting antsy about still being stuck with the Reaper default look after all this time, and wanted to create a look that suited Shadowbringers. I found it in the process of getting wildly detoured on the way to picking up the bandages, and ended up doing the entire Omega raid series, just to get the top for this outfit.

That looks fantastic! And I'm not one to judge; I ran Labyrinth of the Ancients more than a dozen times just to get a hat to drop for my first bard glam.
I'm still holding out hope I can get the rest of the Armor of Light, but all I ever get are the chest and gloves. XD My Choco got the set before I did. ;-;
I definitely stalled on starting Endwalker because I wanted to have the right glams for it lol. I don't regret it though my glams ruled
I've been playing for like three months now but I have only just barely got to Shadowbringers because I keep getting derailed with alts and minigames and dailies and all manner of other nonsense.
oh absolutely. i don't remember how long it took me to get to shadowbringers but ffxiv is definitely best played by being distracted as possible imo
There's just so. damn. much. game in here. I had to make a whole bar just for my job sets. Plus I have some instinct to ration out the story because 1) it's mostly really good, and 2) it is often like having a punch in the gut, and mine is sensitive.
