tbh im not sure cohost is much better. If cohost really wanted to save social media theyd at least open source the app, and ideally federate it give control of the app to users directly

How long do you really see the ex-Cisco VP who is now CEO of Glitch, seeing any value in this weird "cloud editor" thing, when their entire business is around CDN, and they posted a 200mil loss in the last year?
