This is a Standard Wing Nightjar, those long bits are feathers that are a part of the wing

they are spheres, but also pointy. absolute little silly guys. completely bewildered 100% of the time. head mounted upside down? they literally don't care.
but also, adorable! and they don't understand windows! and they are TRIANGLES. LITERALLY. all hail the hypnocone! they also like looking inside a lot and i have like 5024 pictures of tufties looking through windows.
they are absolute little gremlins. zero thoughts, fully living in the moment, unaware of absolutely everything except food and screaming at others who want to steal your food. amazing.
anyway tufted titmice are my hyperfixation and i possess entirely too many silly bird pics. literally runs in the gigabytes of tuftie pics over here lol
