I was cruising eBay earlier today and there was easily a dozen or more listings for one of these machines, and I am baffled by the sudden resurgence.
Until extremely recently, the Rainbow 100 was one of those weird obscurities you had to be the biggest of DEC nerds to have even heard of and now suddenly they're as abundant as original IBM machines.
Did someone unearth a warehouse full of them? Some backwater office or school finally got around to updating a 40 year old computer lab?
