The advertification of Firefox keeps getting worse all the time, and I don't understand what they hope to accomplish by this.
Sure Chrome is attacking adblockers, but if the alternative is needing to install custom forks to block the ads in the browser itself, is it really any better?

EDIT: Oh this is a mobile screenshot, the link to the customize the homepage (including disabling sponsored shortcuts) is at the bottom or under "Homepage" in the settings.
