Yes, you!
Just tell me about your WoL in the comments here, please. It will be a balm as I wrangle spreadsheets and SQL queries today @_@
Anna Verde is a master black mage, adventurer, cafe owner, and lecturer in residence on thaumaturgy and summoning at the Studium of Sharlayan.
Anna was born to a small nomadic tribe of Keepers who roamed Ala Mihgo, before being driven out by the Empire and the Gridanians both, and thus being forced to wander the Sagolii Desert instead.
As a young kit, she discovered a natural talent for the arcane after an unfortunate incident in which she managed to burn down the family cooking tent in a moment of panic. After she came of age, she left the tribe to study with the mages of the Arrzaneth Ossuary.
Soon after she would find herself making ends meet as an adventurer, and eventually swept up into the fight with the Empire through an unexpected acquaintance with the Sultana herself and with Thancred of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Their history needs no account, having been written across the star time and again, and she calls no small number of them among the greatest of her friends.
Her adventuring life has left little time for long-term romances, though she is more or less as close as Keepers come to "married" to Aymeric de Borel, with whom she has also adopted a daughter, Yselda Verde, and together they have established her own small tribe within Ishgard's walls.
She is also, semi-secretly, the last Seat of Azem, having inherited the title and memories of her ancestor Pandeia. For a time this brought her no end of internal conflict, as the Seat's duties drove her away from her newfound family, but her time in Tural has let her find peace with her new role, and she now sees herself merely as a caretaker of the forgotten past.
She was never comfortable with the title of "Warrior of Light", accurate as it may or may not ever have been, and moreso when its true grantor passed. She has instead since been content to step aside and allow a new generation of heroes to blossom in her wake, and carry the star forward to its next destiny.
