If its got a sort of spongelike underside of a million tubes it's a pheasant back/dryad saddle! they're edible, but they go hard fairly quickly so you only want to pick them when they're freshly errupted. (unless you're drying them for powder, in which case it doesn't really matter)
this looks like someone took a timberdoodle and did the wile e coyote "turn into a pancake briefly before scrunching back up and walking away with accordion noises" bit with it
