do you know of an earlier example (like, in fiction?) A cursory googling has only revealed that 1. as soon as people started having computers they started saying you could talk to a ghost on them 2. photographs of famous (?) haunted laptops
I'm having trouble finding fictional examples but it's gotta be at least from the 50s because 1. this has been happening with every kind of electronic media since the telegraph and 2. there are IRL new stories from the early 50s about people getting so freaked out by their TVs being "haunted" that they attacked them
