i am trying to get as close as possible to illegible without crossing over (map is for Tangent Track, a short rpg that's gonna be out as soon as i finish the pictures)
process: draw isometric grid, paint entire thing in watercolors while not paying too close of attention to the grid, rearrange all entries in map key to match new numbers, toss into CSP & add white outlines & highlights. This is for Crush Depth Apparition, a game about a haunted submarine that is finally almost done. It's a bit linear, as far as moving through the spaces goes, but because it is a ghost labyrinth every time it appears in the game, you open a door into a different random room of it. So I wanted to balance out the unreliable entrance with something that's not too hard to navigate once you figure out where you are.
