godddd the way you drew the hair in this looks so good, the way it curls about adelaine's shoulders is great
the rest of it is good too, I like cactilaine's expressiveness even with the mostly red eyes
yeah the hair curling like that was a feature one of my partners, Chirbl, put on Adelaine that i haven't drawn on her for a bit cause I'm lazy but now I brought it back to block some details I didn't wanna work on making look good teehee, ty tho~<3
and yeah! Cactilaine's eyes have always been one of those things where it's kinda fun to play around cause being all red makes it tough but I still have an iris to work with and it makes me rely on other stuff more as well
if it looks good and it blocks some effortful details, that's double the benefit!
I have absolutely done similar things, Nyrané's neck scruff that is now such an integral part of her design was formed by me not wanting to learn how to draw her neck and collar of her coat interacting
pretty much yeah!
