if he didn't react properly (i.e. get horny over her) THEN she might start being concerned
i think you made them easy to understand with the idea on their refs that for opal, maternal afffection and lust are the same thing, the more she thinks about how cute her son is or protecting him the more she thinks about dicking him down. thats how i think abt them
