I'm usually not an audiobook person, but I found out Tim Curry read the original trilogy Old Kingdom books by Garth Nix and it's just as good as you would think!
I haven't reread them recently and was sorta expecting to be a bit disappointed because that's just how it is with stuff you liked as a kid. But no, these are still great and if there's ever an adaptation to screen I need Tim Curry to be the voice of Mogget and/or Kerrigor/the Dead creatures.
I also read the lastest Old Kingdom book, Terciel and Elinor and while I don't think I love it as much as the original trilogy, it was still lots of fun! I really love that Elinor reads Ancelstierreian Mallory Towers books. (Please give me the Waverly College books that are just Mallory Towers, but more swords and magic and less... well... Enid Blyton bullshit)
