one of the best shows i've ever been to was the first mountain goats concert back in tallahasse in 6 years (2012 at club downunder, rip), he played this, it was definitely less familiar to people in the room but i lost my shit at it anyway b/c i fuckin love zopilote machine.

oh man, I remember Cassadaga because it was within a stone's throw of my college. We used to call it Cassavegas for some reason that's slipped out of my brain, but yeah, bands that used to record at either Tarbox or at our SUNY school (because we also had a professional recording setup on our campus for our music program) would always party at our downtown bars. I definitely remember hanging out with The Flaming Lips one night randomly
