Hello everyone!

Here's the second part of my Thoughts About Sea Of Thieves! In case you missed it, here's a great first post where I just talk about rocks and sand for a while. Reviews are in, people love the rocks! Consider checking it out.

Without further ado, let's jump into the greenery in this game!

Environment design in games is one of my weird side interests in video games so I am watching this blog with interest

This is amazing, thank you! I relate to this post on a soul-deep level—at least 30% of my time in Elden Ring is spent appreciating the design of both the rocks/terrain (on both micro and macro scales) and the plant life. So much care and attention to detail was put in on both the biomes and using specific plants to indicate an area's tie to some of the plot factions of the game. It's amazing. I love forward to seeing more of these!!

The plants (and rocks) can be very useful at times! If you're looking for an X-marks-the-spot treasure on an island and find yourself standing next to one of the red ferns seen in your screenshots, or a conspicuously-shaped rock, pull up the map and see if you can spot those features to orient yourself to where you are on the island.
