i've been watching the first couple hours of woolievs' playthrough of Thirsty Suitors, an insane Annapurna published skateboarding/lite-rpg thing about an indian bisexual disaster girl dealing with her scott pilgrim style council of exes in what seems like the early 00s in the pnw. it's got lots of cool indian culture stuff, it's got insane qte-s all over the place for mundane tasks, it's got a bangin soundtrack, our player character has a hot butch skateboarder/mechanic aunt. lots of great stuff about it
unfortunately for me i can't handle the core conceit of the main chunk of the gameplay! rpg battles consist of you trying to fend off... a Thirsty Suitor. someone making a romantic overture and being real pressure-y about it. it's exhausting! i can't deal!
anyway if that doesn't scare you though, maybe check it out. what i've seen so far is extremely cool!
