WOW! What a good movie! It was the first work that Satoshi Kon directed that I ever saw (shoutouts to the college film club, lots of cool and passionate folks there).

In any case, beyond being a film that takes advantage of the medium of animation really well, it's such a fun compelling little thriller story and meditation on the nature of dreams. It feels like a celebration of the human subconcious and our creative ability, and at the end of the day is a movie that has a lot of compassion for it's various characters. If you're a fan of animation/anime you owe it to yourself to give it a watch.
