so i can't remember in casual conversation what the difference between "bright" and "light" is in colors in like. actual design talk or whatever. and my partner has about had it with me not understanding which they mean. so instead of dealing with all that (both sound like lighter to me?? they rhyme??) i propose this. i will not be taking questions at this time

so for example, if you are my beloved partner, and you want me to lower the lightness and saturation of a color, you can now say "please move it dirt-tonewards." if you need just a little less saturated, you have to say "please move it pastel/dirt-tonewards" for cardinal directions, but that's ok

my partner encouraged me to inflict this on any visual designers/artists who follow me. i hope you all like it as much as they do
