really boring, dry skateboarding observation/diary posting
a lot of new and even intermediate skaters have a bad habit of leaning too far over their toes, so they can look down and see the board better. i also do this, except my reaction speed is too slow to do anything with what i'm looking at :(
like, my game plan for catching a heelflip isn't to look at the board spinning and try to time the catch, it's to just lower my feet at some point and hope i'm right. leaning waaaay over my toes so desperate to look at the board and i might as well have my eyes closed anyway lmao
