they can also see (mostly in terms of detecting how much red/blue light is around them, but sight is just light detection after all), feel (stuff like leaf damage), and smell (plants communicate with one another with pheromones to warn about threats). they can also remember environmental stresses and use that memory to decide how to grow in the future! plants are great :3
