eggbug and company's "do it clean" stealth mission in the goblin trenches goes as all stealth missions do: fine for about 20 seconds, and then complete chaos
and when you're in the goblin trenches? the only thing left to do is match their energy. this... is GOBLIN MODE

when i heard the prompt i was like oh jeez. i'm going to have to actually do this like i said i would. "goblin mode" was specifically designed for people who play metal guitar and flute i think

I love how it progresses just like you told the story. I love stealth missions that start quiet, scramble, they blow up the whole motherfucker on the way out. This track captures that so well!!
omg this is so so cool, i wouldn't have thought electric guitar and flute would be a good combination but they work so perfectly together in this!! and that main melody is so catchy
As you can probably guess, I think the loose time feel is a really great way to convey the notion of "goblin mode", especially when you play at a tempo this fast. Absolutely nailed the feeling of chaotic intensity IMO.
oh my goodness so much personality in all the live playing!! incredible work. the flute is so expressive and stuff like the fluttertonguing + rhythmic changes + quick notes across both instruments really puts you in the chaotic battle mindset.
