Also, some more work on this today! I've been very busy getting back-end stuff going this past week, but now this is finally in! Not 100% sold on the font (I want it to be easily readable, which idk if this is) so I may change it to my standard of Lucida Console 6pt. We shall see though.
Basically, you can send messages to your support team/handlers (Who are in orbit? On your homeworld? idk yet), but transmitting/receiving only happens at midnight (or 24 hours after sending the message, idk yet) so you generally have to wait a bit for a response, and you can only send one message at a time. However, since you have to come back to your ship periodically anyway to drop off your pictures, you can check your messages while you're at home base, send a query, and then go off to take more pictures while you wait. This is one of the main ways to learn about the world, the game's story, and other lore, so I want it to be interesting, but also not, like, overbearing! Hopefully this achieves that.
