oh! I feel a bit silly saying this, but just in case you haven't heard it before the overlapping genre here would be "hyperpop" (which includes a lot of stuff, some of which sounds like this and some of which doesn't lmao)

hey thank you! i did know there was hyperpop influence here, i didn't know there was other hyperpop that had this kind of vibe. i've bounced off of some of this list but will try the others and i appreciate the suggestions! :3
also i haven't tried gupi yet but i did know that they are tony hawk's kid. i assume when they are not doing music they are also absolutely shredding
i was gonna recommend girls rituals who is 1/2 of black dresses which I see has already been recommended haha, but it's not entirely my vibe so I don't have many similar recommendations
something in the same general sphere that I see a lot of people into lately is Femtanyl, although that's close to something like Machine Girl than this.

from the little black dresses i've listened to, i think i kept feeling like it was almost what i wanted but not quite, so it's totally possible that 1/2 of black dresses will be just the nudge in a different direction that i was looking for also!
