i'm really not interested in entering any Conversations about it but i've seen several posts now about artist alley not being good or worth it for people and that was really not my experience. assuming a 10% wishlist conversion rate on wishlists gotten from artist alley, and even after steam/tax cuts, it will have been well worth it to me!

best i can imagine is that the type of person who clicks on artist alley is a fairly specific demographic with a fairly specific taste in things, and that might make it hit or miss depending on what you're advertising there? anyway. if you're following me and were considering using it, but put off by recent discussion, here's another viewpoint i guess

I'm using a userscript that replaces the Cohost Corner sidebar with a scrollable fully functional Artist Alley and tbh I really think that should just be an official thing. On a toggle, of course. I just don't really have the presence of mind to actively check the artist alley so having it always visible on the side to idly scroll through on a slow Cohost day has really helped. (The script is here)
