i've been thinking about the part of christmas i liked, when i liked it, and for me it was mostly just a celebration of idleness. more than anything i was just excited to wear pajamas for two weeks and not be expected to do anything! the actual day was the least comfortable in those weeks. so to preserve this idea, i am considering a new holiday:
