Bonus Fact: I took that photo myself, and all the information about the mine is true and correct in real life; I researched the place out of curiosity from camping by the entrance before I decided to write about it

Bonus Fact II: here is infrared video I took of corona discharge on the switchgear at the Anaconda Moly substation that powers the mine, using a Dage-MTI SIT-68 laboratory analog video camera, equipped with a silicon intensified target light-amplifying camera tube
relaxing 60hz hum and the crackle of loose electricity in the dry desert air
tbf I used to live near a substation and felt a subconscious sense of loss every time I traveled because I just got acclimated to the hum. or maybe the EMF too who the hell knows.
