Crunchyroll's translation of Skip and Loafer is generally pretty good, but this line from episode 8 reads kind of strange to me. I don't doubt that Mitsumi's aunt actually says "biologically male" in Japanese here, but translating it as such seems a bit tone-deaf.

I can see it being the case that a trans woman describing herself as "biologically male" is actually common in the Japanese trans community, but it's certainly not the norm in the English-speaking one. Why not just translate it as "Make sure to tell your friends your aunt is trans", then?

My friend who speaks Japanese said that it's a pretty reasonable thing in the original Japanese, so the weirdness is from the translation; tbh it doesn't surprise me as I doubt whoever translated it fully understands how trans people talk about these things and went for something more literal
