i already don't use instagram, so maybe things are different over there but... you'd only have to do this to me once for me to never visit your platform/website/app/whatever again
i don't use any thing that will show me ads, unless i can fully remove all the ads. i'll go through much friction if it allows me to not see ads. any attempt to make me see ads and put in my brain things i don't want i consider a personal attack on my being. ads are revolting
