I think the just-coined #\LaTeX should become the standard tag when discussing LaTeX, the archaic, arduous, annoying, and alcoholism-inducing(yet alluring and academically all-absorbing) typesetting system, as opposed to latex, the resin-related, rubbery substance.
My reasoning:
- The capitalisation would finally be correct*, and I could at last begin to forgive whoever coined
#latex - The likelihood of stumbling upon fetish pornography when looking for discussion re: digital mathematical notation typesetting would be significantly reduced
- It's cute
