I have to spend time navigating to The Stranger and then inside.
You may have already figured this out, but just in case - you can use the log to mark the Stranger in the HUD and use autopilot to get there. Saves a bit of time!
Yeah. They actually have a forced point where your friend by the campfire reminds you to do that after you first cycle in there.
