I have been doing this big ol fan set for MTG based on FF XIV. I have finished all the mythics and am now planning the remainder of the set. The rest of the release posts will be more spread out because of the cohost image limit. Let's rock and let's get the showcase going:
Begining of the End:

A Saga based on the iconic cutscene which signaled the end of 1.0 with the fall of Dalamud. However, both the great Primal Bahamut and Louisoux Leveliur did not end with the fall of the artificial moon

You might also notice the Primal Rite mechanic! As a representation of the primals feeding on the aether of their thralls and drawing power from them! It's not very strong, so it's mostly for flavour. Louisoux also highlights a subtheme of the set which is DFC abuse! Since dual faced cards are great for storytelling, we're using a LOT of them. Before we move on to the Heavensward cards, we have a little friend here:

Such Devastation!
Towards the Heavens
The Dragonsong War left a great scar in the history of Ishgard. For this set, our main representation on the Mythic Side are the brothers of Hraesvelgr and Nidhogg

Before leaving this section, we have a surprise appearance from our favourite time altering Primal:

For Ala Mhigo!
There's not a lot of Stormblood here, so I guess I'll use this section to say that the concept art I found for the following card is now one of my favourites:

Before we head towards the big boys of the story, we have one of the very few Planeswalkers of this set, with a fun gimmick!

The Scions of the Seventh Dawn!
Most of the set (and the Mythics) is looking for Shadowbringers and Endwalker, so let's skip the pleasentries and get to the main non-player characters

Many of these cards are hints for subthemes which are (as of now) planned to show up later! Also we got this guy who just showed up here and is now staring at me funny:

The Unsendered
So, this is were DFC abuse is at it's strongest. All of them transform, all of them. So yeah

This is the first taste of "couldn't get a better render for some of these and thus, some of them will be rough". next section is not getting any additional commentary, here we go.
Endwalker

Chronicles of a New Era
So, as you saw with the Final Boss card, we have Battles in this set! The thing is the version of MSE I use doesn't have Battles, so we are going to be schmaking together a crude version of battles by treating them as transforming enchantments. Nevertheless, we now have Raids. Obviously, Battles based on various quests from the game (no points for guessing what the main inspiration is), now then, who wants to prog ultimate?

Now then, for flavour reasons, the Ultimate Raids are having the highest Defense out of all of them in exchange for the Final Bosses of the Raid. Battles are generally really fucking hard to balance, so they ended up all over the place. There will be more Battle support in the rest of the set, cause we all gotta guarantee out weekly reclears.
The Manderville Men and Company

We have cards based on the Hildibrand quests! Godbear is funny cause he was added as a replacement of a card based on the Ragnarok cause I was very unsatisfied with it. There's only one card left is the first card I made, and the basis of this entire Uncontrolled Autism creative project:
The Man, the Myth, the Director

If you read all of this, thank you, it's gonna take a long time to get the Rares planned and made, so see you next millenium
