Everything got better when I became a green-haired 2D girl. I do fun and unusual things with video games and pinball.

cohost inspired me to do more. Thank you

okay I'm aware that "posting about how you did in a daily word game" has gotten old but I full cleared today's Spelltower on Puzzmo, with some pretty great words (beyond the "read more" but spoilers only matter for another hour). 4,533 has to be my high score.

Btw I've got an invite to Puzzmo for anyone who wants it. It's great that there's a site where you can indulge a daily puzzle habit without engaging with the New York Times. Here's a comparison:

New York Times: spreads transphobia, manufactures consent for genocide in Gaza

Puzzmo: doesn't

anyway my words were: AIR, DEADLINING, CISCO, STRUDELS, GLEE, SHISH, TOP, FEM, COP, FLOX, LANK, IVY, SIC, NUTJOB, REQUIRE

DEADLINING, CISCO, and FLOX were words that I was surprised to be able to play. I was also surprised that NUTJOBS is not in the dictionary, only the singular.

in reply to @arborelia's post:

I'm sure you could tell me why I'm supposed to be mad at Hearst (besides just "they own too much"), but this distant ownership is nothing like the direct connection of logging into the NYT to do Spelling Bee, having an account where they can upsell you, and giving the NYT a positive reputation that they no longer deserve

oh, I can't

tone's hard; this is more of a general "puzzmo isn't a startup, it's a newspaper-run shop" (just by others)

since it's not very obvious! I found out because I looked at the team page, went "hey why's there heart managers here" and did a further search and landed on a hearst press release
